Listen to your body’s cues, adapt your practice to how you feel on that day, moment to moment, and find joy in the flow of movement.

Activation:

Learn gentle activation techniques that awaken your muscles and prime your body for athletic movement. These focused pulses and controlled isometrics enhance your coordination and mind-muscle connection, ensuring that every movement is intentional and powerful. Proper activation is the key to effectively engaging every muscle group with precision and making the most of your training.

Lifelong Skills:

Master fundamental movements that support physical freedom and balance. Your body is resilient and capable of remarkable things. With consistent practice and enhanced body awareness, you’ll develop a deep understanding of your body’s strengths and learn how to best work with them. After a few months with Zen Strength, you’ll have the tools to keep progressing for a lifetime, no matter where your fitness journey takes you.

I can’t promise a flawless journey to the top of the mountain, but I can offer you something even more valuable: a deep understanding of your body and a strength training practice you’ll genuinely love. Once you master the basics, you’ll discover that intuitive strength training is an enjoyable, flow inducing activity that provides an incredible high. Your biggest challenge? Taking rest days because you’ll love your practice so much—talk about a beautiful problem to have!

Your Personal Movement Library:

Think of Zen Strength as your personal movement library, filled with essential exercises to guide you for years to come. Whether you’re just starting out or refining your skills, you’ll find everything you need—from beginner-friendly progressions to advanced movements you will be able to find an enjoyable challenge that is perfect for your body.

Explore at Your Own Pace:

Explore the library at your own pace, selecting movements that inspire you- the ones that light your body up when you see them. Add them to your Digital Movement Board and practice the movements as often as your body will allow. This journey is more than just fitness; it’s about enjoying every step along the way. That means using energy towards your practice when you have it, and resting when you need to.

Movement Board:

When you join Zen Strength, you will get access to a customizable Digital Movement Board, which will have looping live-action demonstrations that you can drag and drop onto your movement board. Each movement will be categorized by difficulty. Your board will also have space for you to inscribe your favorite movement-related quotes- I will offer all of my favorites to get you started.

Listen to Your Body:

Your body knows best. Listen closely and move in a way that feels coordinated and powerful to YOU. Everyone will have a different version of what is optimal for their specific body type and level of ability. If you ever feel discomfort, simply pause, reset, and adjust to what feels natural to you, no matter how basic the regression may seem. Calling on isometrics and short range pulsing movements in order to build a baseline of coordinated strength is incredibly effective. I am here to offer insight into which movements and styles of movement may be enjoyable and effective for you, but you always get the final say. Building trust in your body’s intuition is a major aspect of this program.
